Welcome to Pilates for Golfers
Hit the ball further, straighter and more accurately with less chance of injury. Golf requires repeating the same essential movements. This can cause imbalances in the body as some muscles become overused and others weakened.
For a golfer, muscle imbalances can affect the legs, hips, arms, shoulders, and the lower back. It can also affect your game – your drives may be shorter and less accurate, the potential for injury becomes greater and your stamina may decrease due to inefficient movements.
Pilates for Golfers focuses on strengthening and mobilising muscles required specifically for golf to reduce or eliminate imbalances.
In conjunction with Golf Professional Jack Donaldson at Impact Golf, we will be hosting a Ladies Development Clinic at The Dunes Golf Links, Browns Rd Rye on Friday 27th July 11.30am to 1pm. Contact the Pro Shop for bookings, 5985 1334. Limited spaces available.
