Welcome to THE BIG POT. Teams of two are invited to compete in a unique golf tournament, the format of which is like "limited over cricket" is to "test cricket". This event is unique. It is open to amateurs and professionals over 50 years.
PRIZE POOL $61,000
WINNERS $ 35,000 RUNNERS UP $ 10,000
THE BIG POT is a four ball, better ball matchplay knockout - it is off the stick, there are no handicaps. Each round is over 9 holes. This format means it is a very open event - the best stroke players are not necessarily the best match players. MOST IMPORTANT - this is a team event. Each team has two members, one of whom must be an amateur.
THE VICTORIAN SENIORS OPEN - 1ST - 3RD APRIL 2009
The Victorian Seniors Open is a 54 hole tournament that includes both Professional & Amateur golfers. All golfers must be aged 50 and over.
